i hope this is close by where you live, jane. what a comfort, to have a place to go where you can be w/o words. i need to make a pilgrimage to my 'place'; it's been far too long. and the b-day fast approaches (december). xo
It is close by Susan..where is you 'place'. We didn't fast btw we had a big fat scone, jam and cream in Pam's honour! Thanks again dear Susan for your kind gesture it just meant loads..xo
i have to giggle...i didnt mean birthday 'fast'--i mean it approaches fast, ie, quickly! after i wrote that down before, i thought, gee that sounds funny... no, no: i dont fast for anything...! (big fat scone has me drooling on my laptop...)
my brother's ashes are scattered on a special section of a beach in Massachusetts. i think it's near time to drive down there.
That's impressive; I like it a lot. Too bad you couldn't get a shot from above from a helicopter. My husband's ashes are still my closet, but I decorated the box with a lot of shells and pretty rocks. I think I am waiting so we can both be scattered later somewhere together. We'll see.
i found your blog because you are a follower of mine and i just had to leave some words..what a beautiful place you have created for the memory of your sister...my heart is deeply touched by reading your posts...
This blog is about me and my sister Pam who was killed age 43 in a plane crash on July 3rd 2008 along with the instructor Charlie and her husband Keith who was learning to fly. These stories and thoughts keep me close to her, it's her shrine.
